Last night was the boys' school carnival. It started off with Blaze singing in the Truman Tiger Chorus. They sang some really neat patriotic songs and some cute ones. He just started in the chorus and he is really enjoying it.
After that, the first stop for Kolt and Jett was, of course, the "Cars" themed jump house. They had such a great time jumping and hopping around in there (at least for their time limit of 5 minutes, which is definitely NOT long enough for a jump house!).
Once we tore them away from the jump house, we took them around to play some games and win some "fabulous" prizes, one of which was disappearing ink! Who ordered these prizes anyway?! My favorite game was the Tootsie Pop Board, cuz you always get a yummy Tootsie Pop, and you can pick your favorite flavor so you always win whether your stick is red or not!
And, of course, we had to have some cotton candy and SnoCones. So we took a little break and hung out by one of the games that Sierra was helping to run. She helped Marissa and Bernay (the 2 oldest of our neighbors across the street that I talk about all the time) run the football target game and also helped with a can game later.
Jett and Kolt went to check out the race car and the fire truck. They each got a fireman sticker and got to sit in the firetruck. As always, the Truman School Carnival was really fun for the kids and fun for us to watch them have such a great time.
