La Vida Loca De Flores

Last night, I took my older kids and Mike to discover our new favorite park (Freedom Park...thanks Jennifer). After we ate our picnic dinner of various chicken from Walmart Deli, we had a great time watching the kids play on the really cool play structure they have there. Jett could not get enough of climbing on all the wires and monkey bars and stuff and Sierra and Blaze had a great time playing with Kolt on the different spinning buckets and poles, until Sierra took a head dive off of the large spnning tire thing over the top of Kolt's head and into the wood chips! Luckily, she wasn't hurt...so we got a good laugh out of that. Then, Mike and Blaze decided to take off and explore the back area where the baseball fields and small skating area are. Blaze had brought his skateboard, so Mike decided that he would try to show his son a few "tricks!" Which ended up being "How to fall without breaking your arm" and "Doing the Splits!" I am so sorry that I forgot my camera!! Blaze kept practicing with the ramp and eventually could go up and down the ramp without falling down...whew! Kolt, who also had his Spiderman scooter there, also had a trick or two. He thought he was so cool because he learned to hold one leg up while going down the small ramp leading down into the skating area. He was so proud of himself! It was so much fun and the kids came home nice and tired, and when they went to bed they were out like a light....and so was I!
