looking for new postsscroll on down!

Yesterday Jett performed a really cute program for Thanksgiving in his second grade classroom. They did a short play about the Pilgrims and the Indians. Jett was the "chief" although he didn't have any lines. Later he told me that the reason he did not talk was because, being an Indian, he did now know English!

Today, we made our Thanksgiving pies both for us and for others. We made 5 pies all together. Sierra and Blaze helped quite a bit with the pie making this year. Blaze filled the pies and Sierra made the crumble topping for the apple pie. Blaze even turned down a game of football with his buddies to help me bake today! We made 3 cherry pies (my specialty) and 1 apple with crumble topping (Sierra's request) and 1 pumpkin (Blaze's and Jett's favorite). I know 3 pies is going to be way too much for just us to eat, but oh well...everybody will be happy! Tomorrow, we plan on hanging out here at home, smelling the yummy smells of the turkey, and watching the Cowboys play some football...and hopefully win! Then we are planning to take the kids to see Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium to start off our holiday season with a little fun and *magic*.

Yummy! I want to try your famous cherry pie! Oh, and so sad about Kolt. Isn't it hard when they are crying for you and there is absolutely nothing you can do to help!!!
