looking for new postsscroll on down!

Well, after polling my blog readers, the results are a draw among "Kolt throwing at truck at him," "a lizard biting him at the Living Desert," and "a teammate stepping on his hand with a cleat," with no one voting for the actual correct answer!

Last week, while I was browsing lunch meat at Walmart, Kolt called to my attention the fact that Jett was "hurt." I hadn't heard any crying or noticed any out of the ordinary incident (for those who shop with children, we know there are many "incidents" in any one shopping trip and we have to pick and choose which ones are important enough to distract our attention from choosing an appropriate lunch meat!). I looked ahead where Jett was quietly (this is the word that makes this a notable incident) walking along with his hands folded. I was thinking what on earth has happened to him, and Kolt insisted that he was hurt "from the cart." So I caught up with him and asked him where he was hurt. He just looked up at me and said he wasn't. I said that Kolt told me he was hurt and I wanted to know what happened and where was he hurt. So, he pulls his hand out from under his other arm and shows me the bloody knuckle. So I look at the knuckle and then at the cart and I'm very confused as to how he had done this to himself. So, I ask him how did this happen and he gets the most sheepish smile on his face and says, "I punched the cart." WHAT? I asked him why on earth he would so such a thing and he said he was just playing with Kolt. I think in this instance I would interpret the word "playing" as "trying to show off and be cool," but unfortunately for him it didn't really end up that way! He obviously was not tougher than the Walmart cart!

Isn;t it funny no one picked the right answer? It really is a funny story; definitely one to remember. So cute, that he was trying to be all tough.
