Birthday Dinner

This past Saturday was my birthday, so on Friday night my wonderful friend Terri planned a really fun birthday dinner for me at Applebees, along with a fun movie afterwards. It was a really fun time with lots of great ladies which made me feel very loved that so many took time out of their lives to hang out for my birthday...or that my birthday was a really good reason to just get OUT...either way, I was the one who was spoiled with many nice gifts, for which my penance was the inevitable, totally embarrassing Applebee Employee Chorus Line Birthday Song (complete with clapping!), and a hot fudge sundae that I was WAY too full to eat! But even with all the embarrassment and the poor uneaten dessert, it was so MUCH FUN!! I'm only sad that I didn't really get a chance to chat more with those who were at "the other end of the table." It would have been so nice to have been able to have a REALLY big round table so we could have all visited with each other. As it was, we had a really good time at "our end of the table," and I got to meet Jennifer's sister Brooke who we found out shares my birthday, along with Dolly Parton! (Yeah, Jan 19th Rocks!!!)

Top L: Jess (not looking at the camera) & Terri
Top R: Andrea, Norma, Kim, Me, & Holly
Bottom L: Stephanie, Portia & Evelyn, Jennifer, & Brooke
Bottom L: Angie & Me

It was so fun! I agree though, it's hard to chat with the people on the opposite end of the table. Isn't there somewhere we could go that would encourage us to get up and mingle more?? (and I'm not suggested Home Town Buffet, but that might work :)
